How to install the M1 Micro-Adjust Buckle

   Use a spring bar tool to release the spring bar holding your existing buckle, and remove the buckle.

   Slide the M1 onto the strap in its place and seat the Fitwell spring bar. It is already installed in the M1, and there is a spare in the box. Nothing about the strap changes.

   The M1 arrives in the longer position. Push the slide until both ends of the spring bar are all the way in for the short position. It is firm on purpose: that is what keeps it from creeping loose under the weight of the watch.

   Adjust on the wrist. Longer for a warm afternoon, shorter when it cools. After a few tries it becomes intuitive, and when you pull on the strap to take the watch off, it returns to the extended position.

Two positions, 3mm apart, which is half a hole on most straps. A spring bar tool is required for installation.
